After a jam packed summer of festivals and takeovers, The Soz Lad "Queer Fkin Hardcore" crew are back at The Jam Jar, bringing you a night of energy you will never forget.
In possibly our hardest line up EVER, we are bringing you all the hardcores together under one roof. Hardcore punk, hardcore techno, hardcore breaks, gabber and goth, in 6 hours of queer carnage.
SCOTTISH GABBER PUNK
SCOTTISH GABBER PUNK merges the unrelenting energy of punk with the power of hardcore. Have you ever thought of taking the worst of rave classics, adding a splash of gabber and a healthy amount of unrelenting punk queer leftist agenda, served up and shoved down your throats in the guise of silly string, party canons and snow machine peckers? Well this Edinburgh based duo are doing exactly that, and if that sounds like a good time then SCOTTISH GABBER PUNK is the band for you. We are on a mission to challenge the status quo, boundaries of music, and live performance.

KNIVES
Knives is a Bristol-based noisy post-punk band delivering high octane energy, aggressive riffs, and politically charged lyrics.
"We saw these lot tear the roof of Rough Trade during the 200 trees warm up party, and they have just sold out their first headline at Crofters. They are Bristol natives, hometown troops assemble!"
SISSY MISFIT
Sissy Misfit is a London based producer and performer originally from Istanbul. Her work combines industrial, pop and hardcore music with screamo vocals and non-stop theatrical stage performances.

Dungeoneous neo-gothic darkwave punks from Bristol
"Newcomers to the scene, Bruxism have been impressively playing non stop since their debut. We are so excited to welcome them in to our space and get gothy AF. Another Bristol band, HOMETOWN TROOOOOOOPS LES GO!!!!"
TOKKY HORROR (dj set)
As a firm Soz Lad fave, these lot should need no introduction, they shelled out an incredible DJ set at our first live event back in November '22 and we are very happy to be welcoming their chaos to shred the tranquility of the jam jar to absolute bits. Expect BREAKS, RAGE and BLOOD.
Soz Lad is an event that is catered to the LGBTQIA+ community, however we welcome allies with open arms (and sometimes legs).
Just don't be a c**t basically.
As always, we shall be raising mutual aid funds for those in need, and if you are a member of the LGBTQIA+ community who deserves a party (we all do in these trying times) but don't have the cash, DO NOT HESITATE to give us a message on instagram @sozladpresents and we will do what we can to help you <3
