A gig held at The Jam Jar on Friday 15th November. The event starts at 19:00.

Sam Redmore & The Tropical Sound Clash Allstars return to Bristol to celebrate the launch of his second Album: "Modulate".

Sam Redmore made a significant impact on the UK music scene in 2022 with his debut album Universal Vibrations, a vibrant collection of eclectic, dance floor tracks that earned extensive radio play on BBC 6 Music. His follow-up album Modulate builds on this foundation, blending electronic and live instrumentation across a diverse range of genres, from house and funk to Afrobeat and Salsa. Sam, now exploring and expanding his creative process, incorporated live performances into the album's development, and collaborated with notable artists including Dele Sosimi and Abdominal.

Sam tells us "the sound of Modulate is an expansion of what Universal Vibrations started. My core ethos remains the same - to create music for dance floors, usually involving a combination of electronic and programmed sounds with organic, live instrumentation. I think the sound palette on Modulate is more diverse, but the musical focus is a little more refined. I pick up inspiration from many different kinds of music - from house, disco, broken beat and funk through to afro latin styles including afrobeat, cumbia, salsa and samba - and try to combine things to create something exciting and new."

Entry requirements: 18+
