PAT KALLA is a musician, singer and storyteller. Born in Lyon, from a Cameroonian father, musician and political activist, and a French and literary mother, he explores from his childhood the Soul, the Slam, the Funk … and the art of telling stories, life being a great one… Backed by the “Super Mojo Disco”, a hyperactive band from Lyon with deep grooves and positive energy, Pat Kalla offers us an anti-crisis project, where dancing and feel-good humor is mandatory! Expect Afro-Funk, High-Life, Makossa, Angolan Music, Afrobeat, Afro-Disco and more.
With support from Soma Soma who are renowned for their distinctive blend of samba, hi-life, afrobeat and bossa and have been making waves across the UK with their debut album, Saudade. The original SOMA SOMA sound, sang in Brazilian Portuguese, will certainly transport you to sunnier climes, leaving you energised and in a state of bliss.
