A
gig
held at The Ill Repute
on Saturday 5th April. The event starts at 21:30.
The Pavilion are a Bristol-based alternative-indie-rock band drawing their sound from the likes of The Backseat Lovers, Catfish and The Bottlemen and Inhaler. Creating high energy, feel good
vibes, you won’t be disappointed leaving one of their gigs.
Following a busy summer of festivals including Westival, Oceanfest, Edgefest, Bristol’s Harbourfest, and having played extensively across Bristol, with headline shows at iconic venues such as Rough Trade, The Louisiana, HMV, The Golden Lion, The Exchange and Crofters Rights to name a few, the band have recently played shows in London, Exeter and Barnstaple proving they’re ready to go beyond.
Having released their debut EP, Hydref, back in March, and new single, Tomorrow’s Dead earlier in the summer, the band are currently working on their follow-up EP, which they promise will bring a more evolved sound to their palette.
“We’ve taken influence from other bands, but this new EP is really a true representation of who we are and what direction we’re going in musically.” says Rhys. “Raw emotion and passion is the driving force behind these tracks, and we’re all so excited to showcase that [on this second EP], knowing that we’re moving forward as a band“.
CHIMP
Chimp are a three-piece band reminiscent of The Strokes and Violent Femmes. Their music blends Classic Rock and Indie Sleaze, guaranteed to get you moving.
