Stand Up For The Weekend is our flagship weekly comedy show featuring top circuit headliners and guest acts plus incredibly funny and engaging comperes who host the show. A choice of table seats, reserved row seats and unreserved row seats are available to book online.
Headliner: ROB DEERING
Versatile, engaging and hilarious Rob Deering is one of the most in-demand headliners on the UK circuit. He performs extremely quirky stand-up comedy with music, creating "a highly impressive one-man soundscape powered mainly by energy and excellent guitar skills" (The Scotsman).
Having been performing for many years, Rob has appeared on any number of Radio and TV shows - most recently Richard Osman’s House Of Games. He also won Celebrity Mastermind - twice - and a Comedians’ Special of The Weakest Link. Rob Deering, if nothing else, loves a quiz!
He’s done several national tours since bringing his first - Charmageddon - to the Comedy Box nearly twenty years ago, and he’s taken countless shows to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. When not at the coalface of comedy, he’s a runner and a writer; he’s writing his second book, and has run a couple of dozen marathons - he hosts the popular podcast Running Commentary with fellow runner-comedian Paul Tonkinson.
