Ponchartrain come to Greyhound on 26th April, Free Entry 8PM

Fronted by Paul Godden, whose musical journey began in the 1970s in Bristol and London’s folk/blues clubs, Ponchartrain delivers a high-energy mix of Honky Tonk, Rockabilly, Cajun, Blues, and Country. Paul has played with numerous bands, worked in radio and TV, and backed legends like Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Patsy Montana, Doctor Ross, and Champion Jack Dupree. He’s also toured and recorded with Van Morrison, appearing on You Win Again and Pay the Devil.

Joining him are Jean Godden (fiddle/accordion), Stig Manley (lead guitar), and Tim Robinson (drums). Paul leads on vocals, rhythm guitar, steel guitar, and Dobro.

It’s a foot-stomping, feel-good party!
