Freight Train Sound System
"The Soundsystem should be the headliner, not the DJ...!" - DVS1
The soundsystem is what brings us all together. This freshly custom-built rig is going to be our altar for 12 joyous hours of Duvet Vous? in a warehouse setting. Heavy on the bottom end and crystal hi hats !! Featuring a fine roster of underground DJs pushing deep, bassy dubby, groovy air through it for exuberant enjoyment.
DJs throughout the day and night, from A-Z:
Boomer (Duvet Vous?)
h e c t or (Duvet Vous?)
Justin Gage
Max (Smokescreen)
Ms Ogyny (Dotflex)
Pavinyl (Wild World)
Tony Montana (Duvet Vous?)
Wiggly (Duvet Vous?)
Joining duvet mainstay DJs on this occasion keeping the groove in check is a handful of talented folk from up and down the country. Adding their selections ranging from belting smokescreen bass bin work outs, heady minimal acid grooves and rare latin vinyl excursions.
Live visuals throughout the party by (((doppler) ) ). Doppler is a gifted visual artist with a keen vision for how a rave should look. He represents just another element thrown into the mix on whats looking like a mad wicked day + night !
Hot food, teas and coffees served throughout the day outside!! As well as of course, a bar inside.
4PM - 4AM
In a time where politicians are trying to score points by pretending to dissapear whole crises, there are still real people doing real good work feeding people. Refugee Community Kitchen serve over 1500 hot nutritional meals a day to displaced people in northern france and homeless people in London and Edinburgh. Needless to say they constantly need cash for all of this food so let's help contribute towards their longstanding operation of kindness + humanity.
