John Law presents his Re-Creations project "Playing creative arrangements of other people's tunes" - well-known tunes from the world of jazz and pop alongside classic jazz standards. Expect to hear intriguing new arrangements of songs by The Beatles, Sting, Radiohead, Adele, Paul Simon, Michael Jackson besides some reworked jazz standards. The band includes the award winning saxophonist Sam Crockatt, the talented James Agg on Bass and the exciting young drummer Billy Weir. This is gig number 7 on the band's 35 date tour to promote the Re-Creations Album and promises to be a night to remember.

John Law is recognised as one of the UK's best jazz pianist and composers, always pushing the boundaries and always absorbing and rewarding to listen to. He only lives down the road in Frome and his first performance at Fringe Jazz is well overdue. This is going to be a gig not to miss.
