GUESS THE BLEATING could be described as 'The Ultimate Bristol Music Scene Supergroup' because the five members create a musical cauldron that combines Get The Blessing, Portishead, Massive Attack and a healthy cross section of the city's finest Jazz groups.
Back in the early days of Fringe Jazz (January 2013) Jim Barr and his old mate Tony Orrell put together a special one off band for the club and the evening was such a legendary success that we've been trying to get the band back together ever since. The problem is that the various members just happen to be in certain other bands that are always touring or recording. Last year we thought we had managed it only to almost have to call it off when Keyboard player John Baggott had to pull out due to recording commitments with Robert Plant. Luckily Dan Moore stepped in to take John's place and the gig went ahead in May and was a massive success. Well this year we are pleased to announce that we have managed the impossible and got the whole band together with the incredible Mr John Baggott on keyboards. GUESS THE BLEATING were uncompromisingly brilliant on that cold January night in 2013 and they they were absolutely superb last May so tonight promises to be another classic. Do Not Miss This Gig.
