Tyronne Hill, known better by his stage name, Kid Bookie, is the raucous, genre-splicing standout charging at the frontline of rock and metal’s next wave of fresh faces, lashing out riff-heavy anthems and getting his daily kicks from sending internet trolls into a frenzy. Accumulating his devout cult following from an unapologetic, transparent attitude paired with his rage-fuelled nu-metal/trap-metal blend, above all, his strive for raw artistic integrity will always be the beating heart that keeps his music thriving.
2022 has been the most memorable year yet for Kid Bookie with the release of EP ‘Mass Hysteria’ featuring the likes of Corey Taylor (Slipknot), joining the UK leg of Cassyette’s ‘Sad Girl Summer’ Tour, releasing the re-imagining of noughties hit ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ with Wheatus, ‘Bookie’s Dirtbag’. Closing the year, Kid Bookie made history as one of the first artists nominated for the ‘Best Alternative Music Act’ at the 20th annual MOBO Awards alongside the likes of Bob Vylan, Skunk Anansie and Nova Twins.
Bookie was featured as one of the ’23 most exciting artists to watch in 2023’ by Alt press “Bookie has spearheaded a movement and created more room for BIPOC artists to follow in his footsteps. He’s a true trailblazer, and is sure to keep fuelling the fire in 2023!” - Bookie’s fully intends to make this a reality.
