The Malefic Grip
Bristol’s Sludge, Industrial, Noise, and Doom duo are ready to rock the sweaty Exchange basement one more time! They haven’t played a “hometown” gig in over a year and a cold February night seems like the perfect time after the release of their critically acclaimed EP “Virtue and Industry” back in December. Liam (Vocalist/Bassist) and Helen (Guitarist/Backing Vocalist) will strike you down to the ground with their ear-piercing abrasiveness and enveloping anti-rhythms.

Piss Drinker
A few months back inside the crusty walls at “REDACTED” which is soon to be more flats, a conversation was had. These three people loved the ridiculousness of Noisecore and how you could get away with anything, no limits and no rules. Then with a tip of a hat Piss Drinker made their debut at The Cube being made up of three of the best Noise musicians in the South West including Will (Plague Pit and Acts Of Worship), Alina (Distraxi) and Isaac (Ecotage, Punch On, Beheading, Uncertainty and every other South West band). They tore the roof off the place with their hilarity and intensity, people didn’t know where to look as these three “musicians” were making contact with a demon through their smashing and bashing. With Piss Drinker then playing an awesome gig at Moor Beer, they are now ready to cause an earthquake in the Exchange basement and no one is safe.

inertia point
Making their Bristol debut comes the Southampton two piece inertia point. Made up of Lee (Guitarist) and Danny (Drummer) this band doesn’t know the meaning of the word quit as they pummel and twang (how can you twang drums) their instruments creating a wild spacey sound, somewhere between Hella, Butthole Surfers and Soundgarden. It’s like if cavemen lived today and you asked them to play with instruments, just to see what would happen, less thought, more grit. Something to pull your teeth out too.

DJ JG
Having got into the ring twice so far with Puddle Brain (Eggy Tapes) and Wulf Gas (Atomck) respectively, the Harsh Noise musician is ready to perform all by himself. Expect very niche references and Wumpa Fruit flying across the room for some ungodly reason!
