Since 2022, we've been running events under Moonhaze, Sunhaze, and Dreamhaze - and now, we're bringing it all together under 'Haze', as represented in our new logo. To celebrate our 3rd Birthday and launch of our rebrand, this one-off club event will be a multi-sensory celebration of music, dance, and community. This night is all about immersive, embodied experiences with music, how we express rhythm through motion and connect with one another on the dancefloor.
As part of this unique event we will be teaming up with music psychologist James Cannon to explore how dance music brings people together. By studying movement and shared experiences on the dancefloor, this research will provide valuable insights to support the grassroots music industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a ground-breaking project - and as a thank you, your ticket will be free! Of course, you’re also welcome to just come and enjoy the night as usual.
We’re bringing together some of Bristol’s finest selectors of deep, hypnotic grooves - where warm, sultry, and cosmic energies intertwine. No genre constraints, just an immersive four-hour journey through ethereal rhythms and entrancing beats curated by our DJs to convey the essence of Haze encapsulated within our logo. In keeping with Haze tradition, the space will also be transformed with ethereal hues and atmospheric décor.
LINE-UP:
- PLANTERA: Curators of sonic worlds where fantasy meets frequency - the forward-thinking duo are set to take us on journey through warm, cosmic downtempo vibes to the heady highs of ethereal, psychedelic grooves.
- variable_self: House head, electro enthusiast and acid aficionado variable_self will be blessing us with a hybrid set, providing a euphoric blend of hardware-heavy sounds, merging the vintage and the modern.
- Gillan: A master at crafting hypnotic, immersive journeys through sound, Gillan will take us on a rhythmic journey where hard grooves, ambient textures, deep beats and psychedelic energy collide.

- FREE (research participant entry): You will be sent a full information sheet and consent form via e-mail to confirm voluntary participation in the research taking place at this event. £3 drinks discount included. Please see full details below. Tickets are limited! Last entry midnight.
- £6/£8/£10 (early bird/1st/final release): Standard entry. You will not be required to be a part of the research taking place. Last entry 1am.
FREE ENTRY TICKET - WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
There are limited free entry tickets. If you claim a free to ticket, you are signing up, in principle, to be part of an exciting research project happening at this event. Your night won’t be any different than usual, but by doing just a couple of extra things, you’ll help us gather vital insights into how we move to music and connect on the dancefloor...
1. Read the information sheet and complete the consent form sent to your e-mail (after claiming the ticket)
2. Download the app: Physics Accelerometer Toolbox Pro (costs £2.79, returned to you as a £3 drinks discount voucher on entry)
3. When you arrive - run the app, put your phone into a running belt provided, and fit the belt onto your waist
4. Get on the dancefloor and enjoy the event as usual!
5. When you’re done - return to box office and one of the Haze team will help you send over your movement data
5. After you leave - complete a very short online survey. You have up to 24 hours after the event to complete it
Please note: On entry your ticket will be checked and you will be asked to confirm you have completed the consent form and downloaded the app onto your smartphone. We won't be collecting any personal data and all data collected will be anonymous.
