Herb Garden present: Straight Outta Compost
+ support from CMHD

Bristol's rare Herbs bring their unique blend of catchy, space-punk-rock ditties to the Exchange on Saturday, 30 November 2024. Expect a set of energised, stomp-along originals packed with hooky choruses and guitar heroics. The rhythm section just might get sectioned, but frontman Carl will conduct your delight with his heady brew of homegrown pizzazz and tongue-in-cheek chic.

Herb Garden will recite tunes from 2023's killer 5-track EP 'Space Age Expectations' along with a spicy mix from the back catalogue. Feel the lovage and let them rocket to you!

CMHD
When Bristol-born artist CMHD isn't making music videos for emerging artists he's writing, recording and producing his own unique beats and lyrical observations. Frontman Luke's rhymes are playful and witty musings on everything from World Cup football ("Dringo Dreams"), to cooking the perfect dish ("Keeping It Fresh") - a single which got played on the BBC's Chris Arnold radio show. Second single "Doing Well" did ... um, quite well (!), moving CMHD's music into different genres. The release of a third single, a sound-of-the-Summer dance classic "Get Loose" took CMHD to new styles and a more commercial vibe. But that ain't the sum of the CMHD parts. Yes, CMHD adds the fun to funky but, though he is sometimes strung out in heaven's high, he ain't no junkie, OK? This guy's '4 REAL'. Right - so what's he doing with these old (Herbal Tea) bags you might ask? Let's jest say there's a generational connection. Three singles in, CMHD wants to show off his debut EP, 'A Sensory Experience', a journey through trippy 'n' depressed, via wavy and rhythmic, ending up ... well, you decide.
