Bristol's Pop presents...
BRISTOL GOES POP!
We're delighted to announce the first edition of our DIY indie-pop fest here in Bristol, with some great bands from all around the UK and beyond.
THE POPGUNS
Formed in Brighton back in 1986 The Popguns have proved to be one of the most enduring and beloved indie bands in the country. Maybe best known for their fantastic single Waiting For The Winter, the Popguns are back and still producing excellent records. Their live show is not to be missed! https://thepopguns.bandcamp.com/album/eugenie
HOLIDAY GHOSTS
Brighton-based indie rockers sounding almost like Pavement covering The Velvet Underground. Just released their fifth LP 'Coat Of Arms' on FatCat Records. https://holidayghosts.bandcamp.com/album/coat-of-arms
MT. MISERY
Super catchy love songs from Hartlepool sounding somewhere between Big Star and Alvvays. New record Love In Mind out on Prefect Records. https://mtmisery.bandcamp.com/album/love-in-mind
AUTOCAMPER
C86 style synthy pop favourites from Manchester. Lots of knitwear, limited cassettes. New album coming later in the year from Slumberland Records. https://autocamper.bandcamp.com/album/summertime
SORRY GIRLS
First time in the UK for this dreamy indie pop two piece from Montreal, Canada. Imagine if Stevie Nicks joined Lush. https://sorrygirls.bandcamp.com/album/bravo
