The Underdog returns in 2025 with a special ten-year anniversary series

We've seen some incredible bands over the past ten years of running the Underdog, and as we're hitting a milestone year, we wanted to bring back some of the bands who have won our previous series... New for 2025, we present two Hall of Fame shows at Exchange.

First launched in 2015, The Underdog quickly established itself on the Bristol scene as an alternative to the larger national competitions. Hundreds of local bands have competed at venues like o2 Academy, Thekla, The Fleece, Exchange, The Thunderbolt, and Zed Alley.

Seventy-two bands from around the South West and Wales will battle it out at the 2025 Underdog competition, our biggest-ever event series... but there can only be one winner!
