Blowout Presents

- H_ngm_n -

Heartfelt, hook-laden, and unapologetically emotional, Brighton-based duo H_ngm_n have carved out a distinctive niche in the UK’s emo scene. A wall of sound delivered by friends and collaborators Chris Childs and James Martin, the pair blend jangly guitars and soaring, math-tinged melodies with driving, powerful drums, taking inspiration from the likes of The Hotelier, The Early November and Tigers Jaw.

Offering up a cathartic exploration of overthinking, overdrinking, and grappling with growing older, their gritty style of emo-pop is personal and universal all at once. Merging the blistering rawness of modern emo with the explosive energy of early 2000’s pop-punk, the result is a seamless blend of nostalgia and modernity, unpicking the harsh realities of life’s complications within irresistibly catchy anthems.

- Maxwell -

MAXWELLTHEBAND are an emo band from Southampton UK. Inspired by acts like Jeff Rosenstock, PUP, Jawbreaker and a touch of Pavement they have released 2 EPs with songs about space cats, gloom and the end of all good things.
