After coming to terms with the sudden loss of our spiritual home, The Crofters Rights, we felt it was the right time to get on up and keep the funky parties flowing... we are now very proud to announce we are bringing our Community Disc-O's party to Exchange.
To kick start the new chapter we are super pleased to invite very special guest CHRIS WHEATLEY aka FunkyMusak to take the reigns behind the wheels of steel and dive into the deep disco heat in his vast record collection. So come on down and support your local discotheque and dance to some funky fire!!!

Our guest Chris Wheatley has spent 30 years immersed in the world of DJing and record collecting.
His DJ journey has taken him across the UK, and Europe, playing at venues/events such as Spiritland, Brilliant Corners, Bambi, Up on The Roof, Brixton Disco Festival in London, Bump N Hustle in Bournemouth, Kasheme in Zurich, Frequence in Paris, Red Light Radio in Amsterdam and E Soul Cultura in Manchester.
He's shared the stage with esteemed artists such as Dave Lee, Kenny Dope, Greg Wilson, Horse Meat Disco, Nightmares on Wax, Luke Una, Dimitri from Paris. Roy Ayers and many more. In 2023, Chris made his debut at Love Supreme Festival with Mr Bongo, and has now featured at We Out Here for two years in a row. Chris also features in the May 2024 publication World Records Volume Two, a book dedicated to record collectors around the world.
His extensive music collection and great ear for good grooves spans genres such as Boogie, Disco, Electrofunk, Reggae, Funk, Jazz, Latin, House, and Garage, making his sets a delightful journey through diverse musical landscapes.
On hand, as always, CDO resident boss Admin will be hanging around the decks ready at any given moment to sling heat and keep the tunes rolling...
