Blowout Presents
- Negative Frame -
Fuming out of the big smoke. Negative Frame’s explosive energy’s traversed through live fire breathing, hard hitting bounce riffs, visceral breakdowns and fast, emotional thrash. Formed through skating, graffiti and hunger for rock n roll. After launching their debut EP at a show with legends Discharge in 2018, the band booked several DIY tours, headline shows and radio interviews as teenagers, through their huge passion for all things heavy.
In 2018, when hosting a birthday house show in guitarist Olly Coyne’s garden, some kid heard Negative Frame blasting LIVE and crashed the party to see what was happening in their small village. Years of Xavier following the band around passed. COVID took their ‘Disarming’ release show at The Underworld, however, it brought together the official Negative Frame lineup including bassist Xavier and epically technical drummer Luke. The band is hungry, tighter than ever and ready to rock the world.
Since the return of live music, Negative Frame have been selling out shows including their last-minute, secret release show at The Dev Camden, blowing fire across the UK (literally) with many tours and weekenders. The Small World EP dropped in the spring of 2022, on The Coming Strife Records UK, Death Farm Records EU, Patient Zero USA and Medusas Lair. The EP was featured on Nuclear Blast’s hand picked playlist and the Small World music video dropped on July 1st via Grind War Youtube. They’ve been performing alongside Static Dress, Spiritworld USA, Guilt Trip, Spy USA, during
many weekenders and a packed 6 day UK tour with Realm of Torment.
This Autumn brings a UK tour with Canadian metallic hardcore quartet Rust, they stop off at Exchange on Sept 30th, come through!
