In 1989, with a back drop of free festivals, squat parties and acid raves, Senser forged their sound experimenting with beats, rhymes, heavy guitars and a multitude of musical genres.
Signing their first record deal in 1994 with Ultimate Records / A&M, Senser achieved worldwide success with debut album ‘Stacked Up’ selling over 250,000 records peaking at No 4 in the UK album charts.
Senser has performed to raucously receptive crowds at Glastonbury (1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1998), Reading (1993, 1994), Download (2010), Hell Fest (2013), Pukkelpop and a host of other major European festivals gaining them a loyal and dedicated fan base. They have toured throughout out Europe, USA and Japan headlining, supporting and being supported by acts such as Rage Against The Machine, Henry Rollins, The Levellers, Skunk Anansie and Tool.
Senser have released 5 studio albums. In 2013 they successfully fan funded and released their 5th studio album ‘To The Capsules’ incorporating their unique fusion of rock, metal, hip hop and alternative electronica, staying true to the sound they have been producing since 1989.
With 2014 bringing in the 20th anniversary of the bands seminal debut album Stacked Up, Senser remastered and re-released their international hit album under the title ‘Stacked Up XX’. The album was remastered by John Dent, whose past mastered records have included Bob Marley, The Clash, Motorhead, The Smiths, The Pixies and The Prodigy to name just a few.
Currently writing, recording and touring – Senser continue with the same fearless creative ethos they’ve always held as a core belief bringing Senser fans the empowered sound they’ve come to expect.
