Excellent new trio which blends haunting, delicate melodies, hypnotic grooves and occasional spoken word interludes, taking inspiration from contemporary Scandinavian jazz and post-classical sounds. The trio is built around an unusual (if not unique) father-daughter collaboration between Jemima Evans (piano) and Joe Evans (double bass). They’re joined by drummer Paul Wigens, formerly of punk-jazz legends Blurt and currently forming half of minimalist Bristol duo Eyebrow.
