Love Saves The Day - Update
With response to the Mayor of Bristol's announcement today, we are writing to update you to the situation regarding Love Saves the Day.
We are working to reschedule the show to the 5th and 6th of September 2020. We are fully aware that the whole festival industry is currently trying to plan forwards in a world of the unknown with no guarantees that any events will be able to take place this summer.
Ultimately, the health and safety of all of our audience, plus the extended communities to which they belong, takes total precedence and will lead in all of our decision making as to whether the event should go ahead. If it looks unsafe to do so, we simply will not hold the event.
However, if over the next couple of months, the efforts to tackle Covid-19 have been successful and outdoor events have been deemed as safe by the government to begin to take place again, then we hope to open the doors to the event as previously planned, but later in the summer.
The Mayor has informed us it will be May, at the earliest, that any decisions will be made on whether outdoor events in Bristol can take place in August, September or October, so we hope to update you then as to any further developments.
We understand that this is a long time to wait to find out more, and that people may be unable to attend on these new dates. Therefore, we will shortly be emailing all ticket holders with information as to how to apply for a refund if you are unable to make the rescheduled dates proposed. Fingers crossed that the next few months sees the relief from the situation we currently all find ourselves in.
Until then, stay safe and take care of each other. Love Saves x
