on Wednesday 27th September. The event starts at 19:00.
A lights-out communal listening event celebrating local stories from Bristol-based producers.
BCfm Radio with The Bristol Cable and Bristol History Podcast commissioned local creatives working in the areas of sound, radio, podcasts and local heritage to produce a short audio documentary on overlooked aspects of Bristol's history.
You'll hear 5 new audio pieces, including a brief history of Jewish life in Bristol, tales from a legendary hip-hop record store, a homage to a women's open mic night in the 1990s, a story of living as a disabled person in Bristol, and how a local organisation is advancing gender equality in the music industry.
This will be followed by a short Q&A session.
A great opportunity to meet other people interested in radio and podcasting.
Light refreshments will be available.
The event will end between 9-9.30pm at the latest.
