A
gig
held at DOCUMENT
on Saturday 30th September. The event starts at 12:00.
We've got a host of the best DIY designers both local and international at Machina Bristronica this year - they'll be leading guided sessions where you can walk away with your very own bit of hand made gear - everything from eurorack modules to desktop noisemakers and even tape loops!
Each workshop will run for 3 hours maximum so you'll have plenty of time to catch the other goings on throughout the day at Machina. All equipment for the workshop will be provided, just bring a curious mind and a (relatively) steady hand. There are various workshops for different experience levels but no more than basic skills or knowledge are needed.
A Workshop Ticket covers the cost of all parts and equipment for the build session, however it doesn't grant you entry to the festival so if you don't have one already you'll need a ticket for the Machina Bristronica festival. Thse are available over on Resident Advisor: https://ra.co/events/1250668
Learn how to splice your own tape loops and explore a more physical realm of sound manipulation with Bristol's Beep Boop Electronics. Zero soldering and no previous experience required!
