clubnight
on Saturday 29th March. The event starts at 21:00.
Dèep Bristol are back at Death Disco with yet another heavy-hitting headliner, this time in the form of deep house & dubbed out disco don MR MULATTO.
With an astonishing nearly 40 years in the game, which has included having countless releases on labels such as Cyclo, Imperial Dub, DIY Discs, Flat & Round, Family & Friends as part of UK deep house outfit BRS, not to mention running his own nu-disco-driven label Situationism, that has included releases & remixes from the likes of Sean McCabe, Da Lukas, Javonnte, Risk Assessment, Scott Diaz & Sugar Daddy, the new project from Tom Findlay (Groove Armada), to name but a few. (2 secs - let us take a breath...)
If this wasn't enough he has also DJ'd extensively up & down the UK and abroad within this period, on his own, as one third of BRS and as one fifth of the nu-disco and funk collective Situation, gaining recognition and approving doffs of caps from countless underground dance music luminaries.
He's also has been on remixing a production duties, working alongside the impossibly talented Andre Espeut and Venessa Jackson. Oh yeah, and as one third of the aforementioned BRS, just casually rolled out a classy and restrained remix of the 2001 club smash 'Starlight' by Supermen Lovers.
Rumour has it, at some point during this period, he's managed to get a couple of hours sleep too...
With support from Déep residents (Jason Blake & Delster) and introducing James Carruthers.
