NO AGE + USA NAILS + Dan Johnson & Noah Radley at Dareshack
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Undisputed kings of nu-LA noise-pop, No Age drag their joyously hazed, lo-fi, psych-punk yelping from an alternate reality where Brian Wilson produced Hüsker Dü. Add USA Nails’ blistering post-hardcore sonic assault into the mix, and this could be the gig of the season FFO Times New Viking, Japandroids, Deerhunter, Royal Trux, Liars, Metz."

DARESHACK PRESENTS:
LA-Based Noise Rock Duo NO AGE with support from dissonant no-wave / post-punk from USA NAILS

No Age’s tour is in support of their latest album ‘People Helping People’ - the band’s sixth studio album released on DRAG CITY RECORDS. A ‘notably abstract and eccentric’ piece of work ‘showcasing a renewed sense of possibility’ - Pitchfork.

The raw proto-punk remains perfectly strange, with guitar licks alternating between J Mascis’s fuzzy melodicism and John Frusciante’s soothing warmth as they drift across a busy, restlessly baroque pop background.

USA NAILS
Blistering post-hardcore sonic assault! This is how we like our bands! USA Nails deliver that winning combo of snotty vocals, menacing guitar feedback and feral drumming to such a damaging degree that it’s borderline psychedelic. Essential FFO: Metz, Unsane, Cocaine Piss, Mclusky, Drive Like Jehu, Future Of The Left.

Dan Johnson & Noah Radley
Experimental percussion Duo from Bristol

This will be the first of many in-house shows at Dareshack featuring an eclectic mix of artists and performers that excite and inspire us - aligning with our desire to create unique, immersive events.
