A
event
held at Dareshack
on Saturday 20th May. The event starts at 19:00.
Emerging from the sewers of Bristol to break cis-tematic rules and address crucial topics, GawK is a queer zine reflecting the lifestyle of a Riot Grrrl in the 21st centurrry. Gathering our guts out of the gutter to spawn our first ever bi-yearly affair for Bristol creatives to showcase art, music, fashion and more.
The first offering features:
GorZ
QUEER PUNK band based in Briztol but will conquer the wurld! Encapsulating the audience by incorporating avant grade theatrics and collapsing the societal standard expectations of what you think a gig should be. We display a graphic insight into the dirty and enraged mind of GorZ.
Peacelily
Gnarly local doompunk duo
Miss Kill
Alternative sister duo Miss Kill combine influences of Alternative, Garage and Grunge Rock, holding an extensive fanbase within the Bristol (UK) scene. Taking inspiration from heroes Hole, Placebo and Pearl Jam with noisy electric riffs, emotive vocals and roaring drums.
Dirt
Bristol based two piece. Dragging high pressure stoner rock and sludgy Seattle grunge together into a wicked and dirty sound.
Creative Market Featuring:
May Queen Tattoo
Tammy pink
Lilsamalz
Ay Aidid
Eyelean Jay
Wasting Youth
