Welcome back to the "Verse & Vibrations" Round 3! Our last two events have been a phenomenal success, bringing together a vibrant mix of humour, skill, and dance that left everyone buzzing.
Verse and Vibrations in October will be the grand finale of the year, and we're going out with a bang!
Expect the same electrifying blend of live improvisation, but this time with an open mic, offering everyone a chance to shine. It's the perfect way to transition into autumn, celebrating the change of seasons with rhythm and rhyme.
V&V has 3 very distinctive sections to make the night as awesome as it
Section 1: “Word First” - Vocals are at the forefront of the expression here. iAM13e will set the evening off with some spoken word to a light accompaniment then open the stage for a new Open mic section. Here is where your voice can be heard!
Section 2: “Freestyle & Wordplay” - Lead by the incredible Beat Cleaver. Here is where you choose a theme, a genre and some words and songs are created right before your eyes! There is a QR code live in the venue that you can share your suggestions on screen and the rest is a mystery!
From here iAM13e will join Beat Cleaver on stage for a live b2b freestyle performance before he does his THING :)
Section 3: “Send it Section” - The final section of the night is a genre bending bass heavy reason for you to move your body. From 140, Dub. Grime, DNB and everything in between. It is your opportunity to shake off the week you have had unapologetically in safe space. Let the music do the talking and your movement be the conversation!
