See event details

A gig on Friday 21st March. The event starts at 19:30.

Poppyshow blend catchy pop melodies with genuine raw punk chaos, energy and charisma. The band have been connecting with audiences up and down the country. GUARANTEED to be remembered after the show. They hold their own in hardcore punk shows, as well as melting hearts with their well written songs that dance their way though thrilling highs and contemplative lows.

The band recorded their debut EP in June 2023 with longtime friend and producer Mark Tucker and are proud to be giving their music a stronger and more focused direction. Track 1 “needed ur bed” was released on January 5th and had over 5000 streams in its first week, as of now is on almost 115k. The track featured on the likes of BBC Introducing South West and iHeartRadio

"Initially mellow guitars with a Silverchair vibe draw you into the confessional and subdued vocals before a beat kicks in and the song starts to build with an ominous energy. The chorus explosion of distorted guitars has a Soundgarden meets Terrorvision sound to it and, well, I'm all in." (Listen with Monger)

"Nevertheless, who could forget a band that claims Nirvana, The Beatles and Girls Aloud among their influences?'' (Exepose Magazine)

Entry requirements: 18+
