This is the first instalment of CRAFTY FOLK.

Crafty Folk is a monthly event run by local folky musicians at the Crafty Egg, Fishponds. Come along for a night of beautiful folky, jazzy, indie music - and stay for the cozy vibes at the arts and crafts table provided.Feel free to just sit and enjoy the music, or bring along your own small art projects. This is a relaxed and open space, so make yourself comfortable. Bring a friend, make a friend, discover a new local musician!
This music event is run by singer/songwriter Anwen, who lives in Bristol. She will be hosting each night! See you there :)
A little about the musicians playing:

Anwen -Anwen is a Bristol-based songwriter. Inspired by both Folk and Jazz musicians such as Georgia Harmer, Gillian Welch and Doris Day, Anwen has created a dreamy world of music that is lyrically poetic and harmonically rich. Her EP ‘Little House’ is out now, featuring the track ‘Song For Friends’ which played on BBC 3.

Eva Parfitt- Eva Parfitt is a Bristol based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Exeter, Devon. Her heartfelt melodies and captivating chord progressions are inspired by artists such as Adrianne Lenker, Jeff Buckley and This is the Kit. She moved to Bristol to study music and is pursuing her solo career alongside a variety of musical collaborations.

Ilaina Lowe-'Ilaina Lowe is a Bristol based songwriter, performing original songs for bouzouki and guitar. her strong voice and thorough lyrics pull listeners closer to the finer textures of something otherwise unseen'
