Stormy J is a true original. She terms her sound "Jab House", a highly energetic and emotive fusion of house, electronic rave, jab-jab and gutter soca music. Jab-house is driven by unapologetic extreme freedom, carnival and festival culture. Making waves in London clubs including Ministry of Sound and Queen of Hoxton, while holding down a weekly show on Select Radio, we are deeply honoured to be bringing Stormy to the Ruffnek dance. *Check out her jab-house mix (youtube link above), seriously this sound is FRESH!
Yusuf began DJing in Bristol as The Sultan back in 2009. After a back to back set with Roni Size at Bristol Beacon, he quickly made a name for himself playing regularly across Bristol, Manchester and London, as well as numerous appearances on 1Xtra, BBC Asian Network and KISS. More recently, Yusuf co-founded RepresentAsian with his sister, Safiya, and hosts a monthly show on SWU FM, playing music from the global south, alongside UK club sounds.
Finally, residents Atki2 Jonesy Wales and Dub Boy on support duties with the Big Carnival Energy!
