A
event
on Sunday 26th January. The event starts at 14:00.
Join us on Sunday the 26th of January, for a wholesome Sunday afternoon of singing and Shin rin Yoku (forest bathing/ mindfulness with trees) from 2 pm – 4.30 pm in the gorgeous woodland next to the river Avon.
January can be a funny old time, so let’s go outside and enjoy the benefits of singing within community and spending time with our more-than-human kin.
Pearl Love will lead singing in a friendly and inclusive way, with songs taught by ear, so no experience is needed and every voice is welcome. Rosie Watson will lead Forest Bathing, gently inviting you to connect with yourself and your surroundings by slowing down and noticing.
The event will involve slowly walking on a potentially muddy, uneven path stopping to sing and forest bathe. We will go ahead in all weather, so please wrap up in layers (probably two more than you think!), sturdy footwear, and waterproofs. When entering from the road, the meeting point is on the grass patch to the left of the Conham River car park (findable on google maps if you type it in or from this link https://maps.app.goo.gl/x5F2QJ5aTYAJ9x6X9 ). The ‘what three words’ location is ///buddy.fork.mime.
See you there!
