London born singer-songwriter, poet, composer and producer Patrick Wolf released his first E.P in 2002 at the age of 18 to a bewildered but already rapturous music press and rapidly gathering fanbase. Within the 14 years passed since, he has written and produced six brave and brilliant critically acclaimed albums and toured the globe almost constantly over the next decade.
2013 saw him take a hiatus to set up ʼStudio Adytonʼ where he started his new recordings and completed his first book of Poetry “The Ghost Region”. He has also taken time out for several musical collaborations - playing Viola and Celtic Harp with longtime collaborator Patti Smith on her ʻBangaʼ Tour, dueting with Anna Calvi, and was invited by Yoko Ono to sing two John Lennon songs as part of her Southbank Meltdown Festival.
“The Wildsound Tour” is to coincide with a forthcoming Double A-side Vinyl + Download release, the first new material since 2011ʼs “Lupercalia” album. The tour will be the first live experience of the new sound and the first time touring with a rhythm section and band following on from his recent acoustic 10 year anniversary acoustic tour.
