FULL LINE UP ANNOUNCED
Côr Cochion will be leading us in a pwnco with Y Fari Lwyd. Fresh from their 'Big sing for Palestine' with Charlotte Church & shaking their buckets to protest songs, they've been campaigning for peace freedom and justice since 1983. They're looking forward to a big group singalong as always, we're in safe hands.
Keeping us firmly in the realm of folk Craven band are a Cardiff/Stroud based band who perform traditional ballads with crafted arrangements. They take influence for their soundworld from punk, electronic dance and classical chamber music. Gothic & here to remind us Mari Lwyd is a dead ghoul who represents famine.
& now we dance!
Mali Hâf sings like a celtic warrior & moves like a witch. Bringing the past into the present, dressed as the reincarnation of Boudicca, riding a white horse. Welsh language/Pop/ Electronic/ Alt- R&B. Perfect as we slip from folk dance and song into just the more modern version of that I guess.
'Pontypridd certainly will be looking lovely tonight' as good pal Amy aka Swansea's finest aka DJ Nigel Grace ✨️ carries us into the evening with queer friendly pop & disco to shake our ribbons to. Mari might even treat us to a few moves.

Mari Lwyd is going to be knocking, trying to be let in one last time on the 24th of January 2025 at Clwb Y Bont in Pontypridd. Will you be there to answer her?
Côr Cochion will lead the Mari Lwyd Singalong, followed by live acts blending folk and electronic, (more to be announced). DJ Nigel Grace will be ending the night and starting the new year with pop, disco and queer loveliness. This could be the only chance you get to see Mari Lwyd let her ribbons down and dance the night away.
Early bird tickets have been released so get in there for the £8 tickets!
