'Without doubt one of the most consistent producers in Drum and Bass with a back catalogue as lauded as they come, for nearly 20 years Culture Shock has been supplying dance music with timeless records.

Over time, Culture Shock has carved a unique space in D&B with a sound that holds its roots in the underground, but branches out globally to mass audiences. From artist curated projects including SEQUENCE in 2019, which was responsible for ‘Bunker’ – arguably one of D&B’s most respected underground tracks of the last decade, and ‘Renaissance’, which spent five weeks on Radio 1 playlist, to more recent future classics including “Get To Me”, “Universe” and a remix of Swing Disco & Ella Henderson’s “REACT”.

Pouring energy into projects showcasing a unique sonic and visual identity has become a focus for Culture Shock, and the release of SEQUEL in 2022 is testament to that vision. With more than 20 million global streams and acclaimed tracks including ‘Visions’, ‘Lost’ and the long-awaited remix of Sub Focus’s ‘Airplane’, the project is Culture Shock’s biggest accomplishment yet. It opened the door to Culture Shock performing a Radio 1 Essential Mix, and paved the way for the curation of his immersive VISIONS/AV show, which toured as far as New Zealand to sold out crowds in 2022, channelling Culture Shock’s innovative approach to music and visual design into the live environment.'
