On Monday 14 June 2021, Google Pixel is teaming up with TV gardening duo The Rich Brothers, to host a one-off city tour to help people rediscover the vibrant city of Bristol as part of its Behind the Lens with Google Pixel campaign.
The horticulture themed tour will see The Rich Brothers take their guests to some of their favourite city green spots. Beginning at the Clifton Observatory culminating in a visit to the Bristol Botanic Garden.
The tour is part of Behind the Lens with Google Pixel, a series of experiences to help people rediscover their cities and the places they have missed most, based on the interests they have adopted in lockdown*. People will be given the opportunity to delve deeper into their interests using Google Lens on Pixel. They can also try out the new Lens Places filter, which combines 3D models from Google Earth with Lens’ image recognition technology, to rediscover their cities at macro level with a real-time AR experience that lets you pan over vistas to discover more about landmarks and buildings, simply by long-pressing the camera viewfinder on a Pixel device.
