PUSH AND PULL ACROBATICS (partner & solo) AND DANCE FUSION FESTIVAL is the first of its kind in the South West of the UK in Bristol.

This is for Dancers, movers, and acrobats alike, and there will be something for everyone-
No need to attend with a partner already, though partners also welcomed.
on the 18th, 19th and 20th of August, 2023

We are bringing to you an eclectic convention with a whole host of expert teachers in their realms.
You will have the options to learn creative combinations, dynamic sequences, as well as a mixture of different genres of dance enhanced with acrobatics.

There will be workshops on:
Dynamic partner acrobatics with creative sequencing
standing partner dance acrobatics
solo contemporary dance with acrobatics
Swing dance with acrobatics
African dance with acrobatics
Icarian whips, pops and flows
Contact improvisation with acrobatic lifts
and a massage workshop with application at the end of each workshop day- when tired and wanting a stretch out before the next day!

The workshop leaders are among the most talented and experienced teachers currently practicing from multiple countries,
who have prepared multiple workshops for you with new and creative tricks, techniques and sequences.

Full programme for 3 days:
TIMELINE
- Friday 18th August: 4pm - arrival and registration- and then 3 x workshop slots with 4-5 workshops per slot- 9:30pm finish.
- Saturday 19th August: 10am arrival and workshop start- 5 x workshop slots- 7:30pm finish.
- Sunday 20th August: 10am arrival and workshop start- 5 x workshop slots- 7:30pm finish, wind down, and say goodbyes.
Tickets (exchangeable, if informed):
-200 weekend tickets which will go fast
-A limited number of earlybird tickets

- Focus: Workshop options for beginner, intermediate and advanced/ professional:
dance, standing acrobatics, standing dance acrobatics, solo acrobatics and Icarian.
CATERING
(Within the price of the ticket incl):
-Lunch, snacks, coffees and teas will be available for the lunch break provided courtesy of the convention served from the cafe inside the centre.

There is also a variety of takeaways and beautiful cafes and bars in Bristol- and we will be quite close to the centre.
PREREQUISITES
In order to get the best out of the workshops, some will have prerequisite moves that you should be able to do or be familiar with.
But there will be an option in each slot for dancers who are beginner to acrobatics and for acrobats that are beginner, or beginner with movement practice.

For all- There will be workshops hosted within all levels- and in each workshop slot there will be choices for each level.

ACCOMODATION
-There are lots of nice places to stay in Bristol, but if struggling to find accommodation- please do get in touch if coming internationally over to the UK and I will help.

The full centre is hired for the convention- facilities: Changing rooms, toilets, showers, cafe, dance studio, main gymnastics centre with full sprung floor, tumble tracks, lunges, foam pits.
