held at Circomedia
on Thursday 5th October. The event starts at 19:30.
A night of fresh alternative comedy mixed with circus theatre. Two new experimental shows, from Bristol-based emerging artists, bringing you something you’ve never seen before. A surreal twist on skilful spectacle with comedy at the core, come and join each of them as they turn life on its head and throw it into question.
Ruby
Transcendental is a satirical deep dive into grotesque aspects of the human experience. Using trapeze, physical theatre and a comical amount of existentialism, we’re taken on a fever dream journey through the absurdity of being alive.
"A hilarious, innovative and daring performance"

What we love about Ruby and Charles:
Graduates of Circomedia Centre from Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre, Ruby and Charles are exploring new territory and sharing brave experimental research-led circus work. We are excited to host this event where audiences can hear about the process and feed back or get involved if they want to. Go if you like highly skilled circus performance and physical comedy that pokes fun at itself and the beautiful, dark and absurd world we share.
