For more than 30 years, the mighty London Community Gospel Choir – founded by the inspirational Bazil Meade – has produced some of the finest gospel singers in the country.
Renowned for their rich harmonies, funk flair and dynamic vocal gymnastics, their heavenly voices have added a wall of sound to live shows and recordings by the likes of Gorillaz, Jimmy Cliff, Elton John, Chaka Khan, Luther Vandross and Madonna.
Whilst truly rooted in the glorious gospel tradition, live performances see the choir lend their impressive collective voice to soulful arrangements of swing beat and R’n’B classics – all delivered with an irresistible energy.
