The band led by Rick Brennan (Lead vocals & Percussion) are celebrating the iconic Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis produced Album Change of Heart

Change are among the most noteworthy international acts to spring up during the early ’80s.. The Band is most commonly associated with ‘The Glow of Love’, a 1980 single featuring Luther Vandross over a wistful Chic-like production. Rick Brennan has been performing with Change for well over 40 years now & still going strong!

Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis title track Change of Heart was the fifth studio album by the band was released in April 1984 and reached the Top 40 Album chart in England & the rest was history. It's truly only fitting that Change have chosen England to celebrate 40 Years of the Change Of Heart Album Tour!

The album was a dance-floor classic in the more upfront British Soul Clubs and tracks such as ‘Change of Heart , ‘You are My Melody’ were instant classics along with 3 or more tracks from the album "Warm", "Say You Love Me Again" all written by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis "It Burns me Up" written by Timmy Allen. The band broke through in 1981 with the debut album ‘Change’ which featured the hit singles ‘A Lovers Holiday’ and with a very young Luther Vandross on lead vocal, the singles ‘Searchin’ and ‘The Glow of Love’.

Luther Vandross then went on to become one of the most phenomenal soul voices in the history of Soul/RnB Music worldwide. The group released 11 chart singles, as well as six charting albums, two of which peaked in the Top Ten of Billboard’s RnB Albums chart.

With many more classics such as ‘A Lover’s Holiday’, ‘Hold Tight’, Paradise collaborating with the likes of Jocelyn Brown, Wayne Garfield (Roy Ayers, Candi Staton), Tanyayette Willoughby (Twennynine etc.), Jocelyn Brown (then credited as Jocelyn Shaw), Diva Gray, & many more.

The band say “We are extremely humbled with overwhelming support shown by the outstanding fans in England and we are looking forward to returning to England to celebrate with our favourite fan's worldwide… See you all for the 40 Years of Change Of Heart 1984-2024 Anniversary Tour this coming November to December 2024.”
