Severin Black could perhaps be described as a musical polyglot, responsible for a recent slew of mind-bending releases and overseeing the always bankable 'Archaic Vaults' label, which released some of the most emotionally-resonant and meaningful voices in experimental music
the list of bands he came up with might read to some like a yellow pages of the London alternative underground, including - the under-appreciated Uncanny Valley, bleeding knuckled noise-merchants Claw Marks, stoner-doomlords Slabdragger and even a stint with internationally renowned booking-agent botherers the Fat White Family
his solo work has been just as varied, touching on drone, hand-percussion, broken techno (as Nape) and even 5 Gate Temple-esque dubs - though despite the range of genre, he's somehow managed to imbue a unique sentiment of mysticism, ascension and an ancient respect for the land throughout all of these guises

through previous releases on labels like Opal Tapes, and with an up-coming mind-melter due for release on the excellent Psychic Liberation, Berlin-based dane Nic Krog (fka Misantrop) has over the years perfected an entrancing and bizzarre blend of no-wave, angular spoken-word electro-primitivism
now performing under their birth name, their work explores themes of identity, depression and personal understanding in a way that is raw and powerful, yet simultaneously inviting and sensitive, showing trust and care in the listener, rather than positioning themsleves in direct confrontation with their audience
Nic also runs the ever-reliable Foul-Up radio show on noods, which is an essential listen for those with open minds and hearts, often unexpected but always welcome, unafraid to present the beauty of the world with the grot

for years people have taken their shopping home to find their fresh produce naturally contorted into the face of god, as if nature itself was conspiring to show proof of divine existence and ensure that believers have little reason for doubt. Julian Veg arrives at a point when faith worldwide is declining and comes to remind us that miracles not only exist, but that they happen every day....

this event is sponsored and paid for by the Sensitivity Sound Program institute for health, wealth & prosperity and will be presented at volume through the CGC soundsystem so the music can be felt in our souls and minds alike
