GATHER UP invites different Bristol-based practitioners to lead morning classes to support the continuous training and development of experienced movers and professional dance artists. Morning Class takes place weekly on a Monday morning in term time.
---

This class will begin with contemporary technique exercises to find balance and clarity in the body before moving into more release based phrases which travel through the space. The class will be at a medium pace, with plenty of time to learn material, expand into the phrases and connect with each other. There will not be any direct contact/ touch.

Roseanna will bring her experience of creating dance theatre performance into the class by playing with the musicality of each phrase and finding ways to bring a sense of character to the movement material.

Roseanna is a dancer, actor, choreographer and director. She has co-run @impermanence___, a dance theatre company, since 2011. In early 2025, IMPERMANENCE opened a new theatre for dance at The Mount Without in Bristol, where they present a regular dance programme. Recent performer credits include Dr Semmelweis (West End) and I, Joan (Shakespeare’s Globe).
