Huw and Yuri are two master improvisers and composers. Both virtuosos in their own right, they have performed at the highest level with artists such as June Tabor, Kenny Wheeler, Norma Winstone, Maria Pia de Vito, Ralph Towner, Bob James, Iain Ballamy, Mark Lockheart, Gwilym Simcock and Chico Buarque. In a duo setting they will explore a wide variety of source material from original compositions, lesser known Brazilian music, modern classics and improvisations based on their shared love of classical music. Expect dazzling improvising combined with deep and moving lyricism.
