Legendary Bristol pianist JOHN BAGGOTT is best-known for his work with the likes of Portishead, Massive Attack, and Robert Plant. Trumpeter PETE JUDGE is familiar from a host of leftfield contexts, such as the mighty Get The Blessing and acoustic multi-instrumentalists Three Cane Whale. Together, they have developed a unique rapport as an acoustic jazz duo, with an approach that is spiritual, passionate, exploratory and meditative. The quicksilver dexterity of John's right-hand runs, and left-hand work that threatens to put bass-players out of business, find their perfect foil in Pete's unmistakable lyricism.

Tonight, they'll be playing tunes from their forthcoming debut album (recorded in St George's Bristol), all written by John, as well as some carefully hand-picked standards. Expect a basketful of windfall musical fruit.

Tickets are also available at TREBLEROCK Guitar Shop, 52 The Mall in Clifton Village.
