Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Famously dismissed from government advisory for claiming horse riding was more harmful than ecstasy, Dr. Nutt is THE local champion of evidence-first policy and psychedelic research. He’s joined by ex-undercover cop Neil Woods and the Bristol Cable for a game-changing take on the UK’s endless ‘war on drugs’."

Drug policy in the UK causes more harm than good, and it has to change. But how do we push for change, and what are the most significant issues we need to address?

Join drug researcher, neuropharmacologist, and chairman of Drug Science David Nutt to discuss what a new approach to drugs could mean for our city, families, and community.

David Nutt will be joined by author and ex-undercover cop Neil Woods, CEO of Transform Drugs, Shoba Ram, and Bristol Cable's Matty Edwards will chair the discussion.

Naloxone training and stalls will be available from Bristol Drug Project, The University of Bristol, The Loop, Transform Drug Policy Foundation, and Anyone's Child: Families for Safer Drug Control.

*Please note this will be a SOBER event, and only alcohol-free beer and soft drinks will be available to buy in the event space- please respect this and do not bring alcohol*
