See event details

A gig held at Bristol Beacon on Wednesday 29th October. The event starts at 19:30.

Tickets: https://bristolbeacon.org/whats-on/rick-wakeman/ Iconic keyboardist and composer Rick Wakeman CBE returns to the road with his band, the English Rock Ensemble, to perform his classic albums, The Six Wives Of Henry VIII and The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, in their entirety. Joining Rick on stage is a stellar lineup: Dave Colquhoun (guitars, backing vocals), Adam Falkner (drums), Lee Pomeroy (bass, backing vocals), and Adam Wakeman (keyboard, guitars, backing vocals). Mollie Marriott will once again take the lead on vocals, with three additional backing singers to be announced soon. Rick reflects on the significant of this tour, “To still be playing both of these suites of music at the age of 76 is a remarkable milestone in my life. With a stunning array of musicianship surrounding me, I only wish I could be in the audience watching and listening, so all those sitting out there will have to do it for me!” Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness two progressive rock epics brought to life by one of the genre’s true legends and his world-class band—live in our transformed Beacon Hall.
