See event details

A gig held at Bristol Beacon on Wednesday 13th November. The event starts at 19:00.

Tickets: https://bit.ly/3UwgwdH The 5-piece British jazz quintet, Ezra Collective are a thumping celebration of life. Their electric sound is a winding fusion of afrobeat, calypso, reggae, hip-hop, soul and jazz. 2023 was a landmark year for Ezra Collective. In addition to becoming the first ever Jazz act to win the Mercury Prize for their critically-acclaimed album, ‘Where I’m Meant To Be’, they sold out their entire tour across the world, won Best Jazz Act at the MOBO Awards and performed at international festivals. The collective has burst back onto the scene with their new single, ‘Ajala’. Interpolating the sounds of Afrobeats and Highlife with Jazz, the single nods to the nomadic spirit of the infamous Olabisi Ajala, the Ghanaian-Nigerian world adventurer. With their highly anticipated new album on the horizon, we can’t wait to welcome the quintet into Beacon Hall this winter and witness their kinetic energy.
