Over a decade, Wirral-born Louisa Roach has built She Drew The Gun into a project that fully lives up to its name. Exploring a visceral musical world ranging 80’s electronica, hip-hop, political poetry, and cosmic scouse psychedelia with lyrics that take aim at the wild injustices she was persistently seeing in the world.
In 2016, Roach was crowned Glastonbury Festival’s Emerging Talent Competition winner after releasing her debut, ‘Memories Of Another Future‘. Over the years Roach has firmly carved out her niche of rousing, laser-sharp social commentary.
She Drew The Gun’s fourth album ‘Howl,’ is their most personal yet, Louisa Roach collaborated with producer Ash Workman (Christine & The Queens, Metronomy) to create a record that’s born from heartache and introspection.
