A musical constellation dedicated to creating renditions of ancient Norse and Nordic traditions, legendary Norwegian group Wardruna cast their spell over our transformed venue in early 2025.

Since their formation in 2003, Wardruna have captivated audiences with a broad selection of both traditional and historical Nordic instruments, non-traditional instruments and other sources of sound such as trees, stones, bones, water and fire are used to enhance the nature of the theme being ‘portrayed’ in each case.

An exciting rediscovery of an ancient craft that once lay at the foundation of the Norse oral traditions, which eventually led the group to craft the soundtrack of the hit television series, Vikings.
