The Maestro, that is The Great Baldini, is both honoured and delighted to be sharing the stage with the enchanted Vocalia choir and to bringing his panoply of prestidigitations to the magnificent '1904' Christmas concert in the Performance Hall known as the Wigwam.

The Great Baldini is a magical legend. Known the world over as the Maharajah of Mystery; this Bristolian icon will be bringing a Christmas stocking packed with festive illusions to Bristol 1904 Arts. This Advent, he will explore the Magic of Christmas past, present and yet to come. He holds it his sacred duty, this Christmas, to amaze and amuse, to confound and confuse.

Vocalia is a choir of female former choristers from Bristol Cathedral (from the Girls’ Choir, Cathedral Choir and Cathedral Consort). The choir was established in June 2024, to mark the 30th anniversary of girls singing at the Cathedral. Being invited to sing in such a historic building was a huge privilege, providing an excellent performance environment as well as great fun for all of us.

We are delighted to have reunited – old friends and new – and are now looking forward to our first BIG Christmas concert, at Bristol 1904 Arts. Christmas was always a big part of our year as choristers and something we always loved. So now in 2024, we’re excited to make some very merry, marvellous music for you.

We hope to see you there!
