The People's Comedy presents Make Bedminster Gert Again Comedy Night.

A night of comedy celebrating Bedminster and the surrounding area's connected history, platforming and paying comedians equally.

Showcasing West Country comedians:
Ed Kear ✊ (known for The Batman, 2022; Deadpool & Wolverine, 2024. Bristolian celebrated breakout success)
Jessie Nixon ✊ (3rd Funny Women Stage Awards 2022 as well as BBC New Comedian of the Year Regional Finalist 2021, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the year Nominee 2021)
Phil Wathern✊ (Finalist: Stand Up For Cider (South West); finalist for Philly Comedy Cup, Cardiff)
Troy Orchard ✊(Bristol born & raised loved comedian)
Eliza Fraser ✊(2024 Exeter Phoenix Associate Artist; Funny Women Awards 2020)

From Bemmie Clark's Pies days of old, to the baptisms that took place in the River Malago, to hosting Upfest: Europe's largest street art and graffiti festival - to theatre, the market, and much more besides, this is for the whole community to gather for a night of award winning comedy at the Share Bristol Bedminster Library of Things.

Expect plenty Bemmie surprises!

The event will take place from 7pm-10pm on Saturday 29th March 2025.

Tickets are £4.99 and the more we make the more we can pay comedians.
